what can be done?
some scholars have argued that govts need to harness & redistribute the economic wealth, investing it in public services - such as healthcare & education to help the poorest
however, in a world of open economies increasing taxes on the MNCs & rich, implementing stricter labor & environmental regulations, & redistributing the wealth may prompt the MNCs & the rich to go to another country
