      - Students are to describe what a living bat is and what they know about it. They will also be developing wonders they have about bats or questions that they may have prior to Dr. Barclay's presentation.
      - Students will be listening to a presentation from a bat expert who is currently researching about bats. He will also be presenting pictures of different types of bats on a powerpoint for visual purposes. After the presentation, students will have a debrief of their take-aways on what they learned about bats.
      - Students will be doing their research in partners using bat books provided by the school. Students will be recording their information on a whiteboard through words or pictures. They will first write down what they see based on bat pictures, what they think bats do based on what they see and questions they have to confirm their "I thinks".
      - Students from my class would be going to another grade 1 and 2 class who is presenting their knowledge about bats (far ahead in this science inquiry). For this presentation, students will be doing a scavenger hunt on a bingo sheet to discover facts about bats and will later be reviewed through teacher guided, yet student oriented answers.
