INSTRUCTIONAL GOALS AND THE CALTPES
TPE 1: Engaging and Supporting All Students in Learning
I want each one of my students to create goals and monitor their progress towards those goals, so that I can support them in meeting their goals.
I want to learn more techniques on how to differentiate to support all levels of students in their education.
Working with parents to encourage better student learning and behavior
I would like to improve my practice to keep students engaged.
Provide my students with more project-based classroom opportunities.
My goal would be to continue to collect more math lesson material that is just not teaching computation skills, but include more manipulative and hands on activities. These activities will be fun, engaging, and appealing to the students.
I aim to make better connections with my students in order to teach skills that they are not particularly good at and that I am not fully able to teach correctly.
I would like to learn how to make lessons more interactive so students remain engaged
TPE 4: Planning Instruction and Designing Learning Experience for All Students
My goal is to create engaging lessons for my students in regards to phonological awareness and phonics
explode:I want to engage students actively using demos and hands on learning that are consistent and fluid.
My goal is to better plan my lessons. I want to create more engaging lessons that will help my children be more interested in lessons.
My goal is to get the students more involved. Possibly incorporate more project-based learning? I believe if I add assignments and writing projects to the curriculum that the students are interested in, they might be more excited to participate and more eager to learn.
Improve my relationship with my Co-teacher
TPE 2: Creating and Maintaining Effective Environments for Student Learning
I want to work out a plan with my co-teacher to reorganize the classroom and how assignments are turned in.
I want to create and maintain effective classroom management to make the classroom more effective for student learning.
I want to create a more streamlined classroom that clearly communicates to my students what is expected of them through the layout of the room and more consistent behavior management system.
Maintaining structured grouping so that my students have access to learning according to their ability levels
Encourage students to increase academic vocabulary and decrease the use of profanity in the classroom
I want to get a handle on certain negative behaviors in the class so that all my students have a chance to learn.
TPE 5: Assessing Student Learning
adequately collecting assessment data to inform my instruction
Improving student learning and performance levels through the use of student assessment data
Knowing how to interpret assessment data and appropriately and efficiently implement it in my instruction
Wrting an effective report on the assessments
Get better about putting grades in schoology.
