“How does my sense of touch affect my other senses?”
GRADE 1 SCIENCE:
Senses
3. Apply particular senses to identify and describe objects or materials provided and to describe living things and environments. Students meeting this expectation will be able to describe characteristics, such as colour, shape, size, texture, smell and sound.
Blurred Touch:
put an object in the bag, trade bags with a partner, with your sense of touch figure out what is inside of the bag. What is easier to guess, and what is more difficult.
GRADE 1 ART: A.
Drawing
: · Make drawings from direct observation.
Using observation, before you look at the object draw what you feel using your sense of touch. Then, pull the object out and draw what you see. Compare the two drawings; students will understand how sense of sight impacts drawing abilities
