The Life in Ancient Egypt
Religion
They believe once you die and go to the after life, where your heart is scaled with a feather. If your heart is the same or lighter weight as the feather, they believe that means you lived a good life and you are welcome to the after life. If your heart is heavier, they believed you did not live a good life and you are not welcome to the after life.
Here are five of their god's powers and names: Ra, god of sun. Seth, god of chaos. Osiris, king of living. Thoth, god of Wisdom and Knowledge. Hathor, god of motherhood.
Everybody in Ancient Egypt was very religious and tried their best to take good care of their gods
They cared for their gods to keep their gods pleased and happy with them.
They believed in more than one good.
Society
More towards the top of the pyramid, the more royalty roles come.
The Pharaoh is always at the very top of the pyramid.
The Society was ranked in different levels from top to bottom, top being the best role and bottom being
the worst role.
More towards the bottom of the pyramid, the more people with normal everyday lives and are not royal come in.
Slaves, Farmers, and Craftsman are at the very bottom of the pyramid.
In the middle class of the Society Ranking, the people you would find are the chiefly of merchants, manufacturers, and artisans.
Geography
The Egyptians did use these geography features. They used the Fertile Land to grow crops. They also used the deserts to separate Ancient Egypt from neighbouring countries and invading armies. Finally, they used the Delta for hunting and fishing.
In Ancient Egypt they had a lot of geography features to their own.
Three different geography features are the Deserts, the Delta, and the Fertile Land.
Achievements
Hieroglyphics
Hieroglyphics is such an important achievement because it was one of the first written languages in the world. The used drawings as symbols for their letters to be able to make this language. They also used it to make an alphabet and calendar.
Skiff Boats
In ancient Egypt they built the simplest type of boat called Skiff that was made out of papyrus reed that was tied together. The reason this is important because they used it as transportation, for hunting, and fishing. These boats helped them move to place to place faster and it helped them get more food from the water.
Pyramids
Pyramids are a big achievement and part of history in the Ancient Egypt category. They used the pyramids as a burial places for once somebody has passed. They stopped using the pyramids like that because they were easy to break into. Pyramids were still amazing after that because it seems almost impossible how they made them back then without special machines. Nobody knows how they made them still to this day.
Agriculture
In Ancient Egypt if you were a farmer you would farm for your family and kingdom. If you were a kid with parents that were farmers you would most likely to grow up as a farmer, if you didn't you still wouldn't be in that high of a role on the pyrimad.
The most important crop for the Egyptians was grain. They used grain to make bread, porridge, and beer.
In Ancient Egypt they grew a lot of different crops. They grew Wheat-gain, chickpeas and lentils, lettuce, onions, garlic, sesame, corn, barley, papyrus, flax, and the castor oil plant.
