The Installation of Roller Shutter Door and Finishes
Install mounting brackets first on both side (use a level to mark your brackets will set and secure it straight away)
Measure the distance between the edge of the track and the mounting bracket so you can cut the shaft to length
Secure the door to the mounting bracket with some form of lifting gear. Hold in place with stillson's at both ends of the shaft with the help of a second person to lift the door up
You'll need to push the door up onto the mounting bracket one side at a time & pull the stillson's downwards to help you keep the door in positions
Prop up the door slightly so that you can insert the saddles under the shaft & place u-bolts over the shaft and tighten it
Make sure the door is centered over the opening then tighten the u-bolts on both sides
Start unrolling the door & peel off the protective custody. After that, roll the door back up until 200mm - 300mm of the curtains remains unrolled
Unroll the door slowly & as you go, adjust the positions of the tracks.
Cut the tracks to suit your door opening & slot the specified beams onto the tracks
Measure out and pre-drill the fixing positions on the track as per the installation manual
Stay on the track along both sides of the opening & swap the roller door curtain inside it
Secure the tops of the tracks into the wall by drilling through the top hole of the lead-ins.
Once the position with the tracks just fine, finish securing the tracks onto the wall use of the halogen rebuild area
To create the locking bar holes, first just close the door to the bottom. On the tracks, mark the top and bottom limits of the lock bar
Open the door and drill lock holes where you've indicated on and maneuver the drill to extend the hole so that they link up and finish off with the flat metal file
Test the locking bars slide through holes
