Physical barriers
Physical barrier is the environmental and natural condition that act as a barrier in communication in sending message from sender to receiver. Organizational environment or interior workspace design problems, technological problems.

Style differences during decision making is a common gender barrier to communication. Women commonly like to gather information however men may disregard it to get their point across
emotional
Emotional barriers to communication are usually due to a lack of emotional awareness or control, often referred to as emotional intelligence.

A language barrier is a figurative phrase used primarily to refer to different languages trying to communicate , it is hard to communicate with someone if they have a different speaking language and communication is mainly non verbal
perceptual
Perceptual barriers are internal. If you go into a situation thinking that the person you are talking to isn't going to understand or be interested in you may change your point which they may relate to or understand
