Evaluate the resources whether it is relevant to your study or not
Interpret all the resources so that who can identify the information for the particular area of study
THREE PARTS/CHAPTERS OF ACADEMIC WRITING
Chapter 1 - Introduction
Chapter 2 - Literature Review
Chapter 3 - Research Methodology
Chapter 1 - Introduction
Introduction
In this chapter, every aspect of the research, ideas, theories, models are introduced and you should understand every detail needed to be written in this chapter
Background of study
In this part, you are required to introduce and discuss the details of your topic and research
Problem Statement
Discuss the phenomenon that happens in the field, or has not been investigated yet and use research to find an answer for it
Objective and Purpose
a. Discuss reasons of conducting the research and must be clear, concise and declarative statement, which it will provide the direction to investigation of the variables
b. Basically there are two types of research objective which are General Objective (objective) and Specific Objective (purpose)

b. It must be brief, significant, focused, and debatable
c. Research questions also determine whether your research will be either qualitative method, quantitative method or both
Significance of the study
a.The importance of this research and benefit from the result that is going to be presented
Chapter 2 - Literature Review
Research Framework

b. Usually it starts with bigger theories and only then it will narrow down toward the focus of your topic
Related Studies
a. Find at least five research articles related to your research topic and must be the current article at least last five years of your current year to ensure that the reference are relevant and updated
b. Finding research article is important since it will give an idea of what result will be and compares between the variable involved and the findings of other researches
Chapter 3 - Methodology
Research Instrument
a. Research instrument will be introduced such as questionnaire, set of questions for interview, and also states the quality of the informants or participants
b. You also need to explain how you will achieve validity and reliability of the instruments used
Research Design
a. The appropriated research design should be well explained, specified, and described
b. This also includes the population and samples of the research
Data Gathering Procedure
a. This is where you will describe how the research instrument administered
b. Treatment of data also must be included in this subchapter
