4.Communication: Humour Characteristics
Humor is one of the most challenging forms of communication across culture (-Wen Shu Lee_1994)
A key characteristic of humour is its incongruent elements (-Smith & Bond-1998)
Example: Dalai Lama, did not understand the joe about pizza shop. Because different items have different meanings in different contexts. Translation could not explain the whole meanings in most of the time. It does work.
