Characteristics
Naturalistic
It has a naturalistic approach and is defined as a non-experimental perspective in which the subjects do not analyze their natural environment.
Descriptive data
It is the data that researchers collect throughout the process, these can be images, places or data, surveys are usually applied to collect these data.
Concern with process
The research focuses on the results obtained, therefore it is decisive to take into account the details or problems that arise throughout the research process.
Inductive
Theories or concepts are built on the basis of data collection, therefore it is important to properly conduct the investigation in order to reach a conclusion.

Ethical considerations
Research participants must be carefully chosen to obtain a successful result, and their privacy must be honored, their identity protected, and the time allowed for research to be considered.
