Monometer

Function

Written as a,b,c,d,etc.
Types of scheme:
Internal rhyme
: Words in the middle of the line rhyme
External Rhyme:
Words at the end of line rhyme
True Rhyme:
Final vowel and consonant sounds match
Off-rhyme:
Part of the sound match while the other doesn't
Words in a poem not only affect the meaning of the poem but also the sound of the poem.
