Chimpanzees show far more frequently tendencies of compassion and love than violence.
What did they teach to Goodall?
She realized that chimpanzees made her part of the animal kingdom and for them, there is not a dividing line between animals and humans.
Important moments with chimpanzees
Fisrt moment
Goodall got lost in the forest following to a chimp named David.
What happened then?
She found out the way back and David was there, she was nervous, but he took her hand and did not want to drop it.
This moment showed to Goodall that chimpanzees reassure each other.
Second moment
A chimp named Flo let her infant touching the Goodall's nose.
Chimpanzees as a pets
People should not keep chimpanzees as pets.
why?
Chimpanzees are unpredictable. People can't predict what will trigger a sudden anger or rage.
Attachment with animals
She thinks that empathy of scientists with animals is the key they understand the science.
Differences between animals and humans
Animals don´t destroy environments.
Why humans destroy their planet?
Because they have a disconnection between the brain and heart.
