Why do artists use metaphors
Metaphors used in art are known as visual metaphors. These help convey many complex meanings without using any words
Artists use these metaphors in order to spread meaning without having to say a word
Artists are also people with thoughts, hopes, and dreams. Some people are just better at using words to convey their thoughts, while others use visual methods
The use of metaphors to express emotions
Metaphors help make it possible for people to convey messages which are often difficult to express
Metaphors are a figure of speech in which a word or phrase is applied to an object or action to which it is not literally applicable.
Metaphors help convey emotions by making hidden connections to real life.
They are used in literary pieces to help enhance the meaning of the text
Metaphors often evoke strong and intense emotions according to studies conducted (according to a study done- sited in bibliography)
