How you can use Multi. Cultural books in school.
Science: introduce minority inventors, show different view points and contributions.
Math: Introduce different math concepts using books with different cultural heritages such as book "Berry Picking" to show different viewpoints.
Art: Use picture books to show art from different parts of the world and also different artists. ("Projects From Around the World")
Social Studies: introduce minority view points or different culture's perception on same issues. (Historical Fiction )
Language Arts: use Multi. Cult. books for reports, poetry, theme related studies. Makes students culturally aware, representation, engagement.

Have characters that look like reader and have setting that is relatable.
