Identifying the sound
Point out your finger to something that makes noise, make the noise and ask the child to follow the noise that you make. Example: Birds. (The birds sound is, tweet, tweet)
Discriminating between sounds
Point out your finger to something that makes noise, make the noise and tell them what is the name of that thing and ask them to tell us what is that. Example: "Wow, look! There are so many birds. Tweet, tweet. Birds! What is that, Hasya?"
Remembering the sounds
Call the child and ask them to make some noise. Example: "Syafiz, do you remember how does horses sound like?" and then wait for the response. And then, can proced to the next question of remembering of sounds.
Practical approaches to teach
language to children
Intellectual
Use simple and familiar word that children
are able to understand. Example: Children, do eat your food.
Sensory
Let children explore their surrounding. Example: the taste of lime is sour and chocolate is sweet
Affective
Teacher must creative during class lesson and let children enjoy the class happily. Example: Teacher use cartoon voice during teaches the lesson.
Attention
Attract children with something interesting during the class lessons to attract their concentration in class. Example: sing nursery rhymes with movements
Language
Use meaningful word or language towards children. Example: Good Job!
