reffering nurses
transport and transfer center nurses
referring and accepting physicians
16 interviews
interview guide initially done based on data collected from previous telemedicine/telephone consultation cases
modified during the process
Doctors and nurses that are uncertain of their care for pediatric patients can consult specialists without the need for face to face consultations and unnecessary transfers
better and more family-centered care
However still not used universally and often enough
for example from the health care providers interviewed only 3 had used this method over 30 times

theme 2: technology barriers, equipment issues, who could use it and when?
Smartphones might work
theme 3: family virtually met the accepting doctor -> bought comfort, more information and communication
