This is the act of sharing a message or idea/ suggestion to one or more people.

When giving instructions or requesting something having effective communication means clarifying certain things and being specific

Tone of voice can communicate things also

When communicating verbally those listening/ speaking must be able to speak the languages what the people can understand
Gender
Certain factors or relatable things with men and women may not be understood by the other gender making it hard to communicate
when speaking or listening to someone you may presume that they don't speak the language that you do by the color of there skin or if they have a disability you may assume they cant understand you
Certain cultures can be a barrier. Praying and face veils can prevent certain communication from taking place
a physical barrier like a window or headphones could make it hard to understand the person asking the question. Handwriting of a person can also be a physical barrier
The emotions of a person can be a barrier. They may not want to communicate certain things based on how they feel such as being frustrated with something and not wanting to open up.
Interpersonal Barriers
if you are not clear in what you want as some words sound different or if your accent is strong the person your speaking/ listening to may not understand what you want
