We use the past simple and present perfect for:
Present perfect
for emphasise actions
To indicate an unfinished action
It's both past and present

For emphasising the time
For finished action in the past.

When we use the present perfect and past simple?
The simple past tense shows that you are talking about something that has already happened
The present perfect tense is used when talking about experiences from the past, a change or a situation that has happened in the past but is still continuing today.
