Lords and Serfs
The feudal lords subdued the inhabitants of their territory and converted them into their serfs. They were not owners of the land they work for, and the serfs could they abandon it without the permission of the feudal lord.

Lord Feudal castles
Each of these feudal lords lived in a castle. Castles were generally built with moats of water around them that remained as a defense mechanism. To access the castle there was a raised bridge and in case of attack the relatives and servants would take refuge in the castle.

The medieval age is the historical age of the thousand years that Europe and its area of influence lived from the 5th to the 15th century. It is often mentioned that it began with the fall of the Roman Empire

Monks and Cathedrals
In all these centuries few people knew how to read and write. However, in the monasteries they became places of study and dissemination of agricultural, horticultural and livestock practices.
Next to him, beautiful cathedrals were built. Benedict began to form these monasteries, that's why the monks were called Benedectine
