L'art au centre des controverse My idea of problématique:
How…
-
When these customs are not followed and sculpture takes a modern approach, the work can be controversial and underappreciated by some
Example:God Knows Why, by Damien Hirst
This can logically create a reaction and an impression among those who read the work in question; therefore becoming controversial or novelous
-
That's why when architecture takes a new approach many will judge it, or disregard it as foolish or lacking of sense. Many persons are just not accostumed to see buildings take different shapes and styles.
Example: -The Gherkin, London
The Louvre Pyramid, Paris
Fashion frequently becomes controversial, for not everyone understands or appreciates drastical changes concerning fashion.
-
Traditionally, sculpture follows some customs and ways of creation
Literature tends to follow a standard, defined structure. This structure involves not only form, style, but also themes.
This structure is destroyed when the author decides to go against it; that is by changing their writing style, the form of their work, or by treating unconventional themes.
-
For many, architecture is mainly necessary for the construction of effective and functional buildings used either for living, for working, or for any everyday activity.
Even though it is socially accepted that fashion evolves and changes drastically and in a fast manner, there is still some stigamtization as to how far these changes should go.
