Dowel joint
The dowel joint is assembled in the same way that you would screw a regular joint together only pieces of dowel are glued and inserted into holes instead of screws.

Box joint
A box joint, is a woodworking joint made by cutting a set of complementary, interlocking profiles in two pieces of wood, which are then joined at right angles, usually glued.

Mitre joint

The mitre joint is another one of those woodwork joints that is almost as easy to construct and make as a butt joint. Even though it is similar to a butt joint this joint is stronger.
Butt joint
The butt joint is the most basic and simple joint to construct because it is made with only two pieces of timber that are butted together at the ends.
