Adhesives
Glues work with timber, metal and plastic
PVA is used for joining wood to wood
Very strong, Most likely even stronger then the wood
Epoxy resin
A thermosetting plastic
2 parts, mixed to set
Joining metal to metal, OR metal to plastic
Contact glue
Usually for sheet material
Works with practically all material( it sticks to itself)
Nails
Nails only work with wood
Permanent because it distorts the fibres of the woods
Rivets
Only work for metal and plastic
Pop rivets use pop rivets guns,
Works from only one side
Use-full for awkward shapes/ like aeroplanes
