thick and shaggy wool coat to help keep it warm in the winter
is able to shed large amounts of wool in the summer
able to eat any vegetation, and can dig for vegetation in the winter, where there isn't any on the surface
have hooves that are made from keratin which doesn't get affected by heat circulation, as it is dead, so it keeps the musk ox warmer in the extreme cold.
lots of fat as well - also to keep it warm
