Past Simple:Regular verbs.
We use the past simple for finished actions in the past.
Afirmative+
I/You/he/she/it/we/they+verb in past-I/You/he/she/it/we/they+did+verb simple form.
Negative-
I/You/he/she/it/we/they+didn't+verb simple form.
Interrogative?
Did+I/You/he/she/it/we/they+Verb simple form.
Example:
-I played futbol in the evening.
-She lived in London 2 years ago.
-Did we work yesterday.

Past Simple:Irregular verbs.
Example
-I went to EU last month.-I didn't go to New York.-Did go to LA?

Past simple of be:was/were.
Example:
-I was born in Mexico.
-The Beatles were famous in the 1960s.
-Were you famous.
We use was/were to talk about the past.
We often use was/were with past time expressions.
We use was/were with born.
Afirmative+
I/he/she/it was there you/we/they were there.
Negative-
I/he/she/it wasn't there you/we/they weren't there.
Interrogative?
Was I/he/she/it complement were you/we/they complement.
