Vanessa's Educational Philosophy :check: What has helped me get to where I am now and where I will be in the future
College
Completing my pre requisites as a freshman in college set the tone for what I was going to pursue my education in
I had an advisor who was very supportive of what I wanted to do and helped me all along the way to make sure I kept succeeding
Meeting different people who have played a role in helping me get more involved in the healthcare field.
Health Science Program
I have completed numerous amounts of assignments that have given me a lot of resources that will help me in the future as a behavioral health/ mental health therapist
Has given me the courage to break out of my shell and be confident in the work that I am turning in and be confident with my researching skills.
This program has given me the opportunity to learn more about the healthcare field and all of the different roles that play apart of it.
Family (Support system)
My Parents and grandparents have supported me throughout my entire 4 years of college. They have been a great support system and are always there to help when I need something.

When times are tough during school and I want to give up, my family is there to encourage me and send positive thoughts.

Have dedicated their time to mentor me and give me more resources that I can continue to use as needed.
Masters Program (Future)
The masters program will help prepare me and give me more knowledge/ volunteer experience for future job opportunities.
Masters program will prepare me for real life situations and help me further reach my goal of becoming a therapist.
Hopefully I will be able to attain my masters in behavioral health to acheive my goal of becoming a behavioral health therapist
