Where they stayed
They were all camped together
The Europeans could fit in over 400 people in the boat
They were chained up
They couldn`t even stand up
Men stayed in the bow of the ship (front)
Children were kepped in the center
Women were kept in the stern (back)

they had bad diseases
They got diseases and died
It is really cramped together so diseases could pass easily
They couldn`t go to the toilet
If they died they got chucked of the boat
The temperature went up to 35 degrees C below deck
A lot of them had dysentery so that means they would be doing diarrhoea.
Estimated there was 2 million African people that died on the journey.
Food
They gave them buckets of food
Mostly things like porradge
exercise
They would take them above deck to do exercise
They wanted them fit so they could sell them
