Germany faced huge debt - for running a war economy. Subsequently signing the Treaty of Versailles in 1919. One of the conditions was 6.6. Billion pounds of war indemnity (pay reparations to victorious allied countries).

He declared that Germany would be run as a Republic in coalition with other social parties. Now known as the Weimar Republic.
Weimar Republic

Extreme left-wing revolutionaries and communists saw the weaknesses of the SPD and saw it as an opportunity to gain control of Germany.

Treaty of Versailles
Shame was brought to Germany as the Weimar Republic signed the Armistice toe nd the war. The public blamed the leaders.

Political Instability
Left wing people want more control for the workers and to share the wealth of the country more evenly. The Communist (KPD) were on the extreme left wing.
Right wing people want more control for the traditional elite, rich, army etc. The Nazis (NSDAP) were on the extreme right wing.

Hyperinflation
A sudden flood of paper money entered the economy and a general strike meant that no goods were being manufactured. These factors meant there was more money chasing fewer goods. This, combined with a weak economy ruined by the war, all resulted in hyperinflation.
