I spoke to the year 1 TA today 7/12 and she told me that year 1 really enjoy science! This is a huge positive as Frazetto wrote this in 2003 "Last year’s Science and Engineering Indicators 2002, the US National Science Board’s biennial report about
science, technology and engineering in the USA, stated, “It is generally conceded that scientists and engineers have somewhat of an image problem” (US National Science Foundation, 2002, pp7-25–7-31). (Frazzetto, 2003:18). This shows how people's opinions, especially children's, has changed over the years. This could be down to the way schools are now teaching/approaching the subject.
