Blondes 'to die out in 200 years'
Your reaction to the ethical issues raised by the information in the article
If the industry that is focused on providing information to general consumers can't be trusted, provide any citations for the "experts" or "studies" performed or even name them, they will do a lot more harm than good.
The poor citation and support destroy the author's and their professions reliability and credibility.
What ethical issues were raised by the article
Inconsistency
The only named source, a Jonathan Rees, professor of dermatology at the University of Edinburgh, is opposed to thesis and provides logical, studied fact to support it.
no other person's quotes were included in article.
Lack of support and evidence
Studies not named or liked to
"German study" "experts" but no explanation of where, when, credentials, or proof of it or these "experts existing is undisclosed or even referenced.
No resources defending thesis provided
No reference is providing credit to the "experts" or "study" mentioned in article upon which the article is based.
What is your opinion about the issue, and what caused you to form that opinion
It is my opinion that blonde will remain a hair color even beyond 200 years from now. The only solid evidence or opinion provided supporting anything was from an expert on the subject.
She gave a verifiable fact of genetics being the cause of hair color and unlike the rest of the article seemed to have evidence to back her opinion up beyond I say so, so believe me.
How could using a balance in research and reporting tactics have made a difference in the outcome of what was reported
It would have made a far more convincing argument.
The thesis may have been disproven
Having evidence makes the presented theories viable or disproved, rather than just a imagined possibility.
It would have been far more credible.
Play devils advocate, what opposing view could be expressed
The provided an opposing view so they must have data to back their theory up.
