Social media apps like instagram have played a huge factor in self image over the past years. The pictures that are being pushed out there are not real. Apps have been created to edit, touch up and alter one's appearance. We are all guilty of wanting to edit something out of the picture or change something. It's normal because of how easy it is to change it. After scrolling through instagram and then looking in the mirror and seeing your own natural real body can make you doubt your worth.Body Image is a component of self-esteem.
