ordeals happened when the jury and judge could not reach a decision, so they believed that they were letting their gods decide .
an ordeal was almost always where you had to have an injury, then, they would bandage up that injury and if it had not healed,you were guilty.
kings
the Anglo Saxon kings in order are: Ethelred, Sven, Cnut, Harold harefoot, Hardicanute, Edward, and Harold the second.
village life
work
children would have to work too! they would run around in the fields, scaring off wolves and the like.
women would work at home, and cook and clean until their family got home.
men would have a variety of jobs, including growing crops, forging tools ect.
decisions
the village had a single chief, who would make important decisions.
food
the village would often hunt for food, use the cattle in their pens, or fish in the lakes surrounding them.

the vikings came to Britain from Scandinavia, which we now call Norway Denmark, and Sweden
