Process to identify a struggling student :red_flag:
Missing homework
Students may be struggling with their homework for a
wide
variety of reasons
Counseling Session to

Student may be forgetting to do homework
Student may be losing their homework
Identify if they are embarrassed or experiencing another psychological hurtle for completing their homework
Straying off-track
There may be secondary factors which are leading them off track

ascertain if they are having time management issues
identify if they are struggling with with multi-directional directions or steps

Counsel with parents/try to figure out if there is a larger issue at hand which you can indentify
Give student extra one one on session so you can better identify and focus on the issues
administer specialized test to identify which aspects they are struggling with
Gap between ability and aptitude
Identify via a widening gap between what a student has the ability to do and what they are able to do.
