- Sends signal to the medulla oblongata
- Reaches the VCC - Vascular Control Centre
Sympathetic nerve - decreases at the woking muscles causing vasodilation and pre capillary sphincters to open.
Sympathetic nerve - increases at the digestive system which causes vasoconstriction of the lumen size and pre capillary sphincters to close.

BLOOD POOLING
Venous return helps to prevent blood pooling by removing water products CO2 and Lactic Acid. As we exercise we must increase venous return to increase stroke volume (Starlings Law)
