Empathizing is the fundamental people skill

Ex: You tend to be able to offer comfort to those who may

The art of relationships mostly depend on

What is stress:
The American medical association states, that stress is any indifference that hinders a person wellbeing
Stress is basically a wear on the mind and body
What Happens When Stress Persists
On going stress is bad for the health, damaging
almost everyone’s system, inhabiting peoples digestion, reproduction, growth, and tissue repair,
In response to our immune system
Ex: Long term stress can cause cold virses
and found that with high stress in their life were twice as likely to catch colds as those with low stress.
The national institute of mental health states, that 70 -80% that most doctors are stress related illnesses
Ex: Physical symptom are high blood pressure, muscle tension, headaches, backaches
Unhealthy stress reduction
When stressed people in a victim mindset escape the discomfort as fast a possible. To do so they tend to make unwise decisions.
Ex: Drinking, going numb for hours in front of Tv or computer working to much

Feeling overwhelmed
This the most common stresser for college students
Feel overwhelmed warns us that we have lost control in our lives
When I’m over over whelmed I start to feel anxious and of of control
Powerlessness comes in to play
When this happens I try to take a step back and breath
Feeling angry
Healthy anger expresses itself when
we feel threatened or unjustified when
it comes to ourselves or people we care about
When this feels isreceive by the brain it then
signal for the body to react through hormones released from the body
The antagonist can most often see the change they have caused. The Protagonist often will look flushed , muscle often tense and an increase in pulse
Feeling Sad
Sadness is the natural response to the lost of someone or something dear
Feeling the full depth of sadness after loss is how we fully honor and move forward
Unhealthy sadness can if unkempt
can try into a numbing depression
Feeling anxious
healthy anxiety delivers a message that may be in danger.
