From Juntas to wars
1- Juntas were called interim depositaries of the sovereignty until the legitimate king returned.
2- Military reactions of the colonial authorities was immediate.
3- Spaniards' reactions led to the polarization and the creole elites multiplied.
4- The Creole reaction was increasingly strong and organized.
5- A true continental war for several years.
