All living things have three life processes
Nutrition
All living things need food for energy and to grow. People and animals eat plants or other animals. Plants use sunlight to make their own food.
Reproduction
All living things reproduce. Reproduction means making new living thing.
Interaction
All living things interact. Moving, touching and communication are some forms of interaction.
PLANTS INTERACTION AND DEFENSE
Like people and animals, plants have three life processes: nutrition, interaction and reproduction. Plants use sunlight, water and nutrients in he soil to make their own food.
Plants have a number of defenses against predators, such as physical, compound and biological defenses. Some plant species even have trichomes that release substances that can cause allergies when in contact with the skin.
Although plants don't interact like people and animals, they interact with their environment.
