December 2015, the Global Partnership for Education’s Board of Directors agreed on the need for a strengthened independent appraisal mechanism for developing country partners (DCP) interested in becoming GPE members or applying for GPE funding.
Purpose
The primary purpose of the training is to allow
interested experts to gain fundamental knowledge of the various issues to be considered when undertaking the appraisal of an education plan.
The training is expected to lead to greater consistency and quality in the appraisals of education plans, both ESPs and TEPs.
The Global Partnership for education is a Multi-Stakeholders partenership and a funding platform which supports developing countries to ensure that every child receives a quality basic education
