-103 children with CRPS (87 girls)
-49 received intensive exercise including hydrotherapy, desensitization, aerobics, and functionally directed exercise
-no medications or modalities used
-79% referred for pysch counseling after psych exam
-95 (92%) initially were symptom free
-43 of those studied for 2 years were symptom free, 5 had recurrence, 5 were functional, 1 had functional limitations
-case studies show therapy and mobilization were successful in treating CRPS in patient with tendon laceration and carpal fracture
-exercises emphasizing compression/distraction shown to improve function
