Christopher is the main character of the story he is a smart student academically but because of his autism his social skills are effected and interacting with people isn't easy for him which is why he has siobhan to help him counter these issues

Ed is christopher's primary care giver, he is a very patient with christopher but as the story progresses we he starts to loose his patient
Judy (Mom)
Sioban
Siobhan is the special needs educator at christopher's school she teaches christopher how to overcome his disabilities and how to become socially smart so that he can interact with society correctly

Christopher finds out his father killed Wellignton
The disovery of who killed Wellington was very anti-climactic because his father was the one to tell him whilst he was sad over finding out his mother is still alive. This praticular part of the novel greatly represents one of the main themes of honesty and trust.
Finding out Judy/mother is alive
Christopher Finds out that his mother is alive from letters that date after she apperently 'died'. While Christopher was aqqupied by reading the letters his father walked in and confessed to Christopher.
Death of Wellington
Christopher was looking outside his front yard window and saw wellington, as he came to approach him he was shocked to find out that wellington had been killed
Themes
Trust
The main character Christopher considers trust to be the most essential aspect of life as he believes he can't have a healthy relationship or be able to interact with others if they are dishonest.
Honesty
Honesty is directly connected with trust and is a key theme in this book as it demonstrates how important trust is when interacting with others.
Conveying Emotions
Christopher likes to convey his emotions as distinctly mention what he likes and dislikes, Furthermore, Chirstopher is diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome which makes it harder for him to convey similar emotions to the average fifteen year old. This book highlights how Christopher thinks and conveys his emotions as a child with Asperger's and shows that all children must be treated and raised differently depending on their conditions.

Mrs. Shears' backyard
Christopher investigates in Mrs. Shears' backyard in hopes of finding a clue as to who killed Wellington
School cafeteria
Christopher talks about how he sits in the corner of the cafeteria alone during black days and refuses to talk to anyone

Christopher goes door to door investigating and questioning the residents in his neighborhood to find more clue about the murder
