Washing your hands thoroughly before each client is the first step to stopping cross contamination. Examining the nails before work is also helpful step in catching funguses that are growing. Cross contamination can be avoided by disposing one use product. These products should also be used for one hand, and then switched. Any products that can be reused need to be sanitized and disinfected properly.
