Pharynx

Large intestine
Is referred as the colon. At the junction between the small intestine and large we find the appendix.
The last segment of the colon is called rectum,allows the content to be expelled from the body.

Small intestine
Links the stomach to the large intestine .The first segment of the small intestine is called the duodenum.

Stomach
The stomach wall contains a strong layer of muscle. The junction between the stomach and the esophagus is called the cardiac sphincter. The pyloric sphincter is located at the opposite end of the stomach.
