Other items
A/535: horse aorta
A/319: gangrene of foot
L/871: typhus
Consider: do I stick to just the iconic items (5/6) to have a more meaningful selection or is this number too little, requiring substitution of other items? Can this only be decided once I have completed the text/organising of the iconic items? If I do need other items, how do I select them carefully to make them appear a random choice/add-on/after-thought?
Decision 30/11: stick with iconic images for now (meaningful choices/enhances promotion of collection/fits in with narrative of highlighting significance of Carswell as to not confuse visitor) but have made preliminary decisions of 2-3 further items in case I need to supplement exhibition. Request case notes on these items just in case.
