UK as a destination
Sark is a part of the channel islands of the coast of Normandy, France. It is a fief. It has a population of 500 people, and has 2.10 square miles. In this island where cars are banned and the only form of transport allowed are tractors and horse drawn vehicles.

During World War II, Sark was occupied by German forces between 3rd July 1940 and 10th May 1945. Perhaps due to its relatively small size and traditional reliance on agriculture and fishing, the islanders appear to have suffered less than they did on the larger of the Channel
By Sea Condor Fast ferries from the UK south coast take as little as two and a half hours, and as little as 2 hours from St Malo in France. A traditional ferry operates throughout the year from Portsmouth. Manche Iles Express also operates from the Normandie coast in France to Sark via Jersey.

Sark is a very unique place to visit due to cars not being allowed, this means that walking and cycling is the most popular way of getting around so those that like cycling and walking as a hobby are most likely to go here to do some adventure activities. Also a popular activity is sea kayaking the prices start from £45 and includes all the equipment provided, they can also included a ferry to Sark but this isn't included in the bundle.

The Cotswolds
The Cotswolds are a range of gently rolling hills and the largest Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in England and Wales making them a perfect base for keen walkers and cyclists.
The Cotswolds covers a total of 2,038 km²
There is a range of different hotels and cottages for accommodation which means there is something for everyone in the different areas of the Cotswolds, including different facilities for different people.
The type of tourists that i expect to go to the Cotswolds would be leisure tourists because it is a very relaxing quiet place that people would go to have a break away.
It would be domestic tourists, people within the UK would travel to the Cotswolds.
The specific age group that would visit the Cotswolds is the older age range and people without children as it is a quiet place and not many activities for children to do.

In the Cotswolds they have a concentrate of true English beauty and an extensive history leading back to the Romans and Anglo-Saxons, if not further.
They are an area in south central and South West England including the Cotswold Hills and it is a range of rolling hills that rise from the meadows of the upper Thames. The area is defined by the bedrock of Jurassic limestone that creates a type of grassland habitat rare in the UK.

The mountains are not very tall and they are often called hills.The Pennines comes from the Celtic penniororoches meaning hills.For thousands of years the Pennines have nourished business down its river ,for farming and the trade in wool.
