- - - - Assessment: Draw a Rhyming Word
        
        Individually: The child says the two rhyming words and then thinks of another word that rhymes with them before drawing it.
      - Collaborative Game: There are three cards in each rhyming set. Two of the rhyming cards from each set is placed face up on the table. The children take turns to "read" out the cards one by one. The child whose turn it is with the swatter, "swats" the two matching cards.
- - - - Assessment: Rhymes or Doesn't Rhyme
        
        Individually: The child finds the two words that rhyme in the same line and colors them in.
      - Collaborative Game: There are two cards in each rhyming set. One of the rhyming cards is placed face up on the table. The children take turns to "read" out the cards one by one. The child whose turn it is with the swatter, "swats" the matching card. The teacher will facilitate as necessary.

        Collaborative Game: Children work together to sort through the items to find the matching partners. The TA will facilitate where necessary.
        
        Assessment: Rhyming Clip Cards
        
        Individually: Each child works through their own set of rhyming cards to demonstrate their rhyming skills.
  - - - Listen and Match
        
        Assessment: Rhyming Clip Cards
        
        Individually: Each child works through their own set of rhyming cards to demonstrate their rhyming skills. If they do not know the answer, they will be referred to a friend. The co-teacher will facilitate as necessary.
