Maybe you are one that has suffered an injustice , maybe you are currently undergoing such abuse, because of colour
Maybe even from within the congregation - Well this morning we are going to see how best we can cope with these things -
Whenever we experience in justice we feel emotional pain , it can even damage us spiritually- WE MAY HAVE A KEEN DESIRE TO RECTIFY THE SITUATION - Why do we feel so strongly- DEUT 32:4
UNDERSTANDABLE then that around the world if you turn on the tv or look at your newsfeed we see picutres like this
Is it effective - Me too - BLM - ARAB SPRING
looks effective - Bu no , matter how much people rebel and protest , it does not correct the root cause of injustice - Deut 32:5
May have tiny success
How can we alleviate some of the pain we feel from injustices we face now, - By Focusing on the Kingdom hope and by supporting the kingdom wholeheartedy we can refocus our mins away from the terrible things we have suffered
Sum it up PSALM 145:16 - Inspired Peter to Write there are a new heavens and a new earth and in them righteousness is to dwell
Greatest thins - removal of religious differences ISAIAH 11:9 Says the earth filled with knowledge of Jehovah
Because of his impartiality all races and ethnicities willl be treated equally - and this is truly a scourge around the world today - whole races and ethnic groups are under threat, due to racism - Think of the Rohingya, the uighurs in china and not too long ago the genocide in Rwanda
Who was the focus of many of his miracles - not changed - PSALM 72 Psalmist under inspiration shared with us some expressions that show exactly what he will do - 12-14,16
INstead he chose to focus on promoting that kingdom - Miracles
Jesus trusted Jehovahs Kingdom completely to sort out the worlds problems - He showed by actions, - not promote social or political reforms, didnt set up action groups - PErfect - could have succeeded
can you see yourself living under that rulership - No badness
Jesus Suffered injustice
If even the best Government under the wisest human kingcould not end oppression- Well then it only makes sense that Jehovah has to establish his own Government - ISAIAH 9:6,7
ONly the God of Justice can come up with a solution - exaclty what he has done
What about now
IN certain situations Bible principles can help - PROV 22:3 - Shrewd one sees the danger but the inexperienced keep right on going and suffer the consequences - LEARN TO RECOGNIZE AND BE ALERT to IF POSSIBLE AVOID SITUATION in which mistreatment is likely
RIGHT S - Avenger to express wrath against the one practising what is bad
DENIED JUSTICE - 1 PET 5:6,7
We know Jehovah may not take away the injustice yet, but he will comfort you and strengthn you - and when the time comes - The proper time that is marked in Jehovahs calneder - he will punish the onese causing injustice
So in conclusion what have we learned - This world is filled with injustice - But like Jesus by focusing on the wonderful future blessings the kingdom has in store for us , by working wholeheartedly to promote it in the witnessing work, by applying bible principles now and also by throwing all our cares and problems on our god Jehovah it is possible to find Joy and Peace even now despite the injustice
