Antigone We see that Antigone/Ismene believe some deaths are worse then others, "think what a death we'll die, the worst of all," and Antigone says, “I will bury him myself./ And even if I die in the act, the death will be a glory,” (Sophocles 4). Possibly, since Antigone and Ismene feel so powerless about their life, they seem to be able to find more control over the way they die or at least, the way their death is perceived.
