Adaptations: In the thick canopy, the trees grow tall to get air and sunlight from above.
Adaptations: Some plants have wax coatings to prevent taking in too much water, because it constantly rains resulting in a very wet and humid environment.

Scarlet macaw
Structural: They have sharp, strong beaks to crack open hard shells of nuts, and use it to attack predators if the come close.
Structural: Long, bright coloured feathers to attract mates (Red, blue, yellow)

Behavioural: Lives a monogamous life, only lives with one mate at a time.
Functional: They learn to fly to higher trees in the canopy to protect themselves and their mates from predators

The rainforest climate is usually hot and humid, its also very wet and it rains very often.
