Structural
Its body is white, which means that it can camouflage in the white snow around itself.
It has thick fur, which allows it to store heat for its body, not allowing the cold arctic wind to come in.
It has thick fat under its fur, which allows it to store heat and also prevent damage to its insides.
It has sharp claws and teeth, which makes it easier for it to hunt and kill its prey.
Behavioural
It will start hunting a lot of prey during autumn, so it can store energy and food for hibernating.

It communicates with its nose, for example it wants food from another, it will circle around the food and gently touch the other bear's nose with its own.
Functional
The Polar Bear is a carnivore, because it is really hard to survive in the North Pole only eating shrubs and seaweed.
It hibernates in the winter, which means they can spend the cold and harsh winter sleeping.
