Client-Server
Smallest of the networks
The servers are assigned responsibility for certain tasks and provides services to other computers
Client computers are normal desktops, computers or mobile devices that connect to a network and use its services
Shared Devices
Connect directly to a network hub using USB connection.
They could also be attached to a server or client computer
Hubs
Broadcasts data to every connected device, including the sender
Computer ignore the data if its not intended to them
Switches
Inspect data and only send it to the intended recipients
Smarter version of hubs
In the school, it is the server, providing us with wifi access and we are the clients, using it
It is a client-server relationship
Routers
Combine functions of a router with the features of a switch
Connects network to the internet and allows multiple computers from the same network
Since its just an intricate system, do we use routers?
