Hold Me Fast, Don't Let Me Pass
Plot
-
Conflict
Hazel wants to learn about her husband's time in Scotland by talking to Mrs. Dobie; a lady who let Hazel's husband stay with her at the time. But Mrs. Doby doesn't have information about the husband.

Resolution
Mrs. Dobie doesn't have anything to tell about Hazel's husband because she can't remember him, so she just thinks about what happened with her husband in Scotland.
Style & Structure
Sequence
The sequence is combined because Munroe uses flashbacks while telling about Hazel's stay in Scotland. I think she did this because she wanted to portray Hazel's feelings about her late husband more clearly.
-
Epistolary?
The story isn't an epistolary because no letters, journals, diaries, etc. are used to tell the story.
Feeling
The books gives off mixed vibes, on one hand it's sad Hazel wants to find out more about her husband's time in Scotland, but she doesn't really. On the other hand, the book has a warm feeling to it because it feels very lively while reading it and there are people that want to help her, even though she has to tie the strings together herself in the end.
